Social distancing
We’re limiting the amount of people in the shop at any one time to one, so you may be asked to queue outside. To help you maintain a distance of two metres from other customers, you’ll find floor markings both inside and outside to show you where to queue. We’ve also put up Perspex protector screen on our counter to keep staff safe.
Staff will be working split shift to avoid contact, we apologise for any inconvenience. This is temporary measure and we will do our upmost to provide our usual top quality service.
Contactless payments
Please try to avoid cash payments and instead use contactless card payment. The nationwide limit on contactless card payments has increased from £30 to £45 to reduce physical contact.
Steps we are taking
Frequent cleaning of work areas and equipment between uses, cleaning objects and surfaces that are touched regularly, including counter, door handles, card payment machine and other surfaces. Making sure there are adequate disposal arrangements for cleaning products.
Clearing work spaces and removing waste and belongings from the work area at the end of a shift. Providing regular reminders and signage to maintain hygiene standards. Providing hand sanitiser. Enhancing cleaning for busy areas.
Putting in place picking-up collection points where possible, rather than passing goods hand-to-hand if goods have already been paid for.
Thank you and we hope to see you very soon.
